Meet Sabrina
Sabrina Acosta is a Puerto Rican actor and teaching artist based in New Jersey. Growing up in the Garden State, she dabbled in various hobbies and sports, making a memorable—if not iconic—contribution to her basketball team with only a single basket made over two years (special skill alert!). Realizing a career in the WNBA wasn’t in the cards, she discovered her true passion: singing along to the 2012 film adaptation of Les Misérables. Her love for musical theatre blossomed in her living room eventually transitioning to the stage.
Sabrina pursued her passion academically, studying vocal performance at Rutgers University, where she honed her skills in both musical theatre and classical styles.
As a teaching artist at Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ, Sabrina has the privilege of fostering the talents of the next generation of performers. She strives to create a supportive and engaging environment for all her students to find their unique star quality.
Outside of theatre, she loves listening to Selena, solving sudoku puzzles, reading, and trying out every local coffee shop she can find!
